3 Reasons Why Volunteering Helps Your Child Succeed

Updated: Aug 16, 2019

We absolutely love volunteers. You have gifts and talents that will benefit all children. You make a difference.

Down below is a short video just for you about how to get involved and three reasons volunteering in your child's school supports their success.

Let's get started.

3 Top Reasons to Volunteer at Your Child's School

“Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.” Sherry Anderson

  1. Show your child how much you value their education. We know our children watch what we do, just as much if not more than they listen to what we say. When they see us reading a book, they learn that books are important. When you take the time to volunteer at their school, even if it’s once or twice during the year, your children know you value their education and their school. They know what you value by how you spend our time.

  2. Bonding with their teachers and administration. Your valuable time frees up others to focus on the students more. You have gifts and talents that we don't have that enhance all students' learning. When you are in the building, it is much easier to ask questions and get answers. Everyone is grateful for you; so, you'll be a hero.

  3. Learn more about your child's day which enhances your relationship.
